SOUNDSCAPE: AMTRAK STATION

A soundmap of the Amtrak train station in Providence, Rhode Island. The piece documents individual locations within the space starting in the café, moving to the center of the station and ending on a platform where the viewer/listener waits for the arrival of the train in real time.
For the installation, the video was projected onto a screen and accompanied by two headphones so that the viewer could fully immerse themself into the experience without being interrupted by other noises.
